WHW: A Guide to MLM Products

Let’s face it, MLM products are everywhere.  We are bombarded with them at every turn from Facebook to Instagram to the soccer moms.  It feels like everyone I know has their hand in some form of MLM.  I always think it would be a good idea and then I realize I would have to work my friends and sell something (and that scares the life out of me).  But, I believe it supporting women and small business, so I actually use quite a few products that are part of a MLM.  This is my guide to the products I use.

Monat.  It’s hair care.  It promises to strengthen and help grow your hair.  It gets rid of buildup and makes your hair ever so soft.  I admit I was a tad skeptical at first (and still am), but I do love the way it makes my hair feel.  Its softer and thicker and shinier.  Am I seeing new growth?  Maybe.  The cons: price, it’s not cheap.  There are a lot of steps and sometimes I do not have that many minutes in the shower save the toddler running a mock.  And I forget to use the oil at night.  And my one complaint, the dry shampoo ran out pretty quickly.  But, I need shampoo and its not much more than I spend on my salon one, so I support a friend and her small business.  It also lasts a long time.  I only wash my hair about 2-3 times a week, so the bottles I got in December are still going strong. I also love the Junior Line (It's wonderful for E's hair) and my husband uses the Black.  Here is a bit more about the products from TBB.  Also, if you are interested, my sweet friend Elizabeth at The Blush Magnolia is a distributor.

LipSense/SeneGence:  Everyone has heard of LipSense I think.  You know the lipstick that stays on forever?  Yeah, I tried it hoping it would finally be the thing that allowed me to wear lipstick.  Ya’ll it doesn’t work for me.  I know, I know I am supposed to let it get rid of the buildup, but then it still doesn’t stay on well.  So, I do not use the lipstick.  I do use the gloss and the lip balm.  But the real gems, the skincare and the tinted moisturizer.  My mom is a distributor so I started using her stuff just to see and well I am a tad hooked a few products.  The tinted moisturizer is the bomb.   I wear it on weekend and sometimes under my foundation for extra coverage.  Lip balm. It really is the best.  I also use the concealer, climate control and collagen night pak.

Rodan + Fields.  I started using it when my sorority sister and army wife began to sell it and had amazing results with her dark spots.  I had/have dark spots.  I sunbathed too much, had melasma and just hated my skin.  I have used several different systems.  Currently, I am just using the acne spot treatment and the Lash Boost.  Love the lash boost.  Worth the price.  I get so many compliments on my lashes.

Beauty Counter.  It’s skin care, makeup, hair care… It boasts products that do not use harsh chemical and are natural and safe.  Elizabeth sent me some samples because I have been wanting to try it and ya’ll I love them.  First, they are good for you.  Bye are the ingredients you cannot pronounce.  Second, they smell amazing.  I am about to put in my first order and I am super excited.
Plexus.  I have a love/hate relationship with this one.  I want to love it, but often I find that I just give up.  Ain’t no one got time to take so many darn supplements.  I know I should be more in tune with my gut health and energy, but I choose where to spend my money and its not here anymore.  I also do not like the new flavor of the pink drink as much as the old one.  For those of you who do not know what Plexus is, its supplements for your personal health.  The main thing is the pink drink.  And people swear by the ProBio5 and the BioCleanse.  But I just cannot remember to take all of it and keep up with it and I just try to maintain a somewhat healthy diet.  But, I know people who love it and swear by it and I have seen it truly change people’s lives.

Keep Collective.  Think personalized jewelry.  Charm bracelets and engravables. They now have rings too.  I used to be seller.  I loved the product and really just wanted to discount and perhaps something that was my own.  I just again did not want to pester my friends and so I gave up selling it. But I do love the product and they have a ton of cute charms.

These are just the MLM that I use or have tried. What MLM products do you love, hate or that I need to try?
