Happy Monday everyone. This weekend ended up being jammed packed, but very productive. If you saw my Instagram, you know that the husband and I become weekend warriors and tackled painting our upstairs TV room.
When we bought our house three years ago the entire house was beige. Like, walls, trim, doors, baseboards... all beige. It looked like beige threw up. I hated it. So, little by little we have been transforming it from builder beige to a more modern grey. We had the downstairs down last year, so now we are on the upstairs.

After all that painting, and because Grandma was in town, we headed out for datenight. I got to wear my green maxi dress from The Paisley Heart. It's a locally owned boutique that has a website, and facebook shopping. Free shipping and super cute.
We headed to one of our favorite spots in downtown Fort Worth, Bird Café. It's known for its small plates and sharebables and its amazing. WE had the cheese plate and an amazing corned beef and potato dish. And this blueberry cobbler.
We were home by 9:30 pm and I chatted with my mom before I headed to bed. Check my instastories for a little peak of my mom.
Sunday we slept in (thanks mom for getting up with E). And then back to painting. We did the accent wall and hung new white blinds. Then Mom and I took E to Kohl's to get some spring/summer clothes and some stuff for Mom. Then we headed home and Mom headed back home.
We played outside and I got in a quick run while dinner cooked. I made an easy pasta bake that will keep well and is good for lunches.
And then the bedtime battle began. I do not know if its the time change or what, but bedtime has been a struggle the past week. E refused to bathe or wash her hair or brush her teeth and she ends up going to bed in tears because she won't listen. Needless to say, by the time she is in bed all we want to do is drink. Hoping this subsides soon for my sanity and my husband's.
Hope you all had a wonderful St. Paddy's day weekend and here's to another week.
