Egg-Tastic Weekend

Hate when a long weekend is over and I have to return to work. But it was a wonderful weekend!

Friday I managed to get some down town and run a tons of errands that needed to be run and grabbed a massage before returning home to a napping baby girl. Then we spent the rest of the day hanging out.

We hit up a local favorite for an early dinner and introduced Evie to chocolate ice cream at our fav local parlor Melt.

Saturday we went to the local Easter festival and Evie wanted to take all the animals home.

After a long busy Saturday, little girl went to bed early and so did Mommy and Daddy.

Sunday we were up bright and early and E went through her basket in .3 seconds, straight for the puffs.

We then made a mad dash to get ready for church. It was a tad cooler than expected, so Evie donned some tights and a sweater, but still looked adorable.

she was not happy to take photos

After her nap, we headed to a good friend's house for some egg hunting and coloring and playtime.  E loved putting the eggs in her basket and even got to try an M&M.  She also colored some eggs and had so much fun playing with her friend Parker and all of Parker's toys and books. I got to snuggle my friend Catie's baby boy and it was a good way to end Easter.... well not end.

We got home and decided the wonderful weather deserved a family walk.  So E napped in the stroller that daddy pushed and I wielded the dogs on a 3 mile walk along the trails behind our house.  It was great and the pups were out for the rest of the evening.

I made steaks for dinner, and we watched E play in her crib for an hour until she finally zonked out around 8pm. J and I watched an episode of House of Cards and called it a night.

And here we are back at another week, but I get to wear my white jeans and carry my white purses! Yahoo!

Happy Monday all!
